When I read posts of Stelena fans saying Stefan and Elena will be together soon and that she’s only with Damon because she feels unworthy of Stefan my imediate thought is:
FROM WHAT ALTERNATIVE UNIVERSE ARE THESE PEOPLE WATCHING THE SHOW?
Not once in her entire conversation with Stefan was their past relationship adressed.
Elena told Stefan she believe he deserved everything he wanted from life and from that logic it would include her too… That line could be the oppening to discuss their past/future relationship but she never said anything relationship-wise.
It’s like Elena doesn’t care about what he’ll do or where he’ll be going because she won’t miss him, she has Damon now. That’s why i think Elena only gave Stefan that speach to appease her conscience for hurting him. Not that she regret moving on from Stefan but because she thinks he’s a good guy and don’t deserve to be hurt but at the same time she couldn’t help falling in love with Damon nor was she sorry for it.
Plus that stelena conversation was angst free, If Elena was indeed sacrificing herself because she though she was unworthy of Stefan, i highly doubt she would behave like that, talking to Stefan as if she was talking to an old friend or a brother not to an “epic love”.
Elena’s declaration of love to Damon had more angst and frustation than Elena’s conversation with her “epic love”. LOL
And let’s face it, Elena didn’t even wasted her time telling him what he should’ve already known, she didn’t botther to tell Stefan that what she felt for Damon was real.
Stefan had to find out by eavesdropping, how funny and epic was that?!
Seriously, yes, we all should ship whoever we want to ship but we shouldn’t check reality out to be able to do it.

Yeah, I’ve been feeling everything.
The definition of insanity is having 2 phones, one for work and another for friends/family, using them at the same time (call/texting) and thinking to myself that i need a 3rd phone so i can go on tumblr without using either of them and because tumblr is mine and mine only. I need to keep it private, like high security with locks and keycodes private.
